First day after the training class was very good. I probably shouldnt 't say what I learned exactly but I will say it was quite infromative.
The training class let out early and the trainees were allowed to go to the lock styling and lock rescue classes that were part of the Sisterlock TM explosion for free. I was quite please that they were for free because I had very little to begin with.
I learned so much in the styling class. My first set of locks I would wash and sometimes lay on without letting them dry. In the styling class, I learned that doing this causes mildew which make the locks smell because the hair hasn't fully dried allowing bacteria to chill in your locks which lends to a bad scent. My SL's had a faint weird smell for sometime and now I know why. :)
Michelle Bryant taught that she generally styles with hair. She avoids hair accessories that could pierce through or snag on the lock. She actually has her own product line found at http://www.celebratingnaturalhair.com/index.html
