I finished my first client's retight this past weekend!
I am not so much excited about it as I am shocked at myself for standing up so long to finish her hair. It took me sixteen hours total. For those of you with experience retighting... is this too long? Maybe that is why I felt guilty. My client felt guilty because it took up the weekend (friday evening and all of saturday).
Her SL's are a little bit thicker than normal. At first I used the hook tool because I that would be the tool I would have used in future. The next day I used both the nappylocks tool and the hook. Then decided to use the nappylock tool exclusively. She prefered the nappyloc tool because it was faster and more gentle on her scalp. I also found it to be much faster so I will be using the clip tool to retighten instead of the hook tool.
Great! Be proud of yourself and know that in time you will get your speed up. Question, why have you chosen to use the nappylocs tool instead of the sisterlocks tool, or along with? I wish you the best. Peace and Blessings!
