Amba, my consultant and sisterlock mentor and mother figure finished my SisterlocksTM around 1:30pm. It took about 14 hours over a span of three days. It normally would have taken two days but I wanted my SisterlocksTM done as soon as possible and we had to work around my school schedule as well as her availability. No matter the number of days it took the same amount of time hours wise it would have for her to do it in two.
Sitting in the chair was tough so I know what my clientele will be facing. There two times I kinda nodded off to sleep so my head kept whipping around making it hard for Amba to create locks.
I am happy with the way they look in their current state. Many women newly Sisterlocked seem to be self concious because a lot scalp shows. But scalp showing is normal because you just had new locks put in. In no time, the new growth comes in to hide the scalp and your locks will swell as they conform to the lock framework created by the consultant.
I'll do a part two because I want show my photos of my second install and my first set of SL's side by side.
